ETAL fridge render with produce visible through the glass front

ETAL

A redesign of the home fridge around fresh produce instead of generic storage. Research into household food waste showed fruits and vegetables are the most frequently discarded items, in part because standard fridges give them no dedicated place or visibility. ETAL responds with a round, glass-fronted form: a fruit bowl and open herb terrarium on top for what should be seen and used first, and a rotating glass-shelved column below split into produce, dry storage and general chambers — built in cork and wood-toned accents rather than the usual white plastic.

Luno discover screen with swipe to like or skip a track

Luno

Luno is a platform for discovering new music, with an interface modeled on dating apps: swipe to like or skip a track. It grew out of research showing most listeners already stick to searching for songs they know, are satisfied with their streaming app but not with its discovery features, and usually hear only a track's opening before moving on, missing the part that would have hooked them. Luno surfaces that moment first, and turns what you like into "sessions" — reviewable, exportable playlists — with taste tuned by sliders instead of checkboxes.
